On December 28th 2015, eCratchit lost a great friend. Deb Swart passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the heart and soul of our company. Deb was the first employee of eCratchit 15 years ago and has interacted with hundreds of clients and every employee over those years. She was the foundation for all of us; always striving to help any client and solve any problem. She embodied what it meant to be a professional and team player and will be missed dearly. More importantly she was the face of our company; always with a smile and laugh. Always wanting to make sure you were ok or see what more she could do to help.
On a personal note; I will miss one of my best friends. If you are lucky in life you get to have a few really good friends, someone you can count on no matter what; someone who always has your back; will come running without question. Deb was that friend for me. I first met Deb 33 years ago, we always stayed in contact and when I started eCratchit; Deb was the first person I wanted on the team. She was invaluable to our success; willing to do whatever was needed and there is no way we could have made it this far without her. I will miss her smile, her humor, her wise counsel.
I will miss a great friend.
